"Got everything we needed in one afternoon."
We shoot brand campaigns and product photography out of a small studio in Ferndale, and one of our apparel clients wanted something different for their fall lookbook. I booked the Two-Aircraft Bundle at MyFlight Detroit and we drove out for a 1 hour window. The ground crew had both the helicopter and the jet staged on the ramp when we arrived, doors open on the helicopter exactly how I'd asked. We shot the first half hour with the helicopter solo, then they repositioned the jet next to it without me having to ask twice, and we ran outfit changes between every block. By the end we had product shots, group brand shots, lifestyle frames with the models in front of both aircraft, and enough social media content to keep the client's feed running through November. Honestly the hardest part of the day was deciding which images to cut. Booking the bundle saved us a second trip we would have absolutely needed, and the ground crew running point made it feel like we'd worked together for years. I've already got two more clients I'm bringing back.

No. Photoshoots are ramp-based. The aircraft stays in place for the duration of your booking. If you need aerial or in-flight footage, that's handled through our Custom Tours, where the helicopter actually flies.
No. For safety reasons, the aircraft is fully shut down for the entire shoot. No engine start, no rotor spin. The ground crew can reposition the aircraft on the ramp as needed, but it stays off.
Yes. Doors can be open or closed, and you can shoot the interior, exterior, or both. Tell us what you have planned in your inquiry so the ground crew can prep the aircraft accordingly.
No. You bring your own photographer, videographer, and any crew you need for the shoot. We provide private access to the aircraft, the ramp, and one ground crew member to assist with staging and safety.
Up to 20 total, including crew and talent combined. Larger productions can be discussed, but the 20-person cap is the standard limit for safety and ramp logistics.
Bring what you need. Larger gear (lighting rigs, generators, big stands, dolly tracks) needs to be disclosed in your inquiry so we can confirm it works with our ramp setup and safety requirements. Standard handheld gear, tripods, and reflectors don't need pre-approval.
Yes. The helicopter and the jet are positioned on the ramp at the same time, so you can shoot one solo, then the other solo, then both in frame together. The ground crew will reposition them between sequences as needed.
Sometimes, depending on ramp availability that day. Overtime is billed at $300 per 30 minutes if pre-arranged when you book, or $500 per 30 minutes if added on the day of the shoot. Your ground crew will know what's possible.
