Cancellation policy.

Everything you need to know about canceling, rescheduling, and what happens if your plans change.

If you booked a standard tour.

Here's what happens depending on when you cancel.

More than 7 days before your flight

Full refund
If you cancel more than 7 days before your scheduled flight, you're eligible for a full refund (minus any non-refundable deposits if applicable).

Within 7 days of your flight

No refund
No refunds are issued for cancellations inside the 7-day window. Bookings made within this window are subject to the same rule.

No-shows

Charged in full
If you don't arrive for your scheduled flight and don't contact us, your booking is charged in full. No refund or credit.

If you need to reschedule.

More than 24 hours before flight

FREE
Reschedule at no charge when your deparutre is more than 24 hours away.

Within 24 hours of your flight

$25 FEE
A $25 flat fee applies to any reservation change made within this window.

Within 2 hours of your flight

Not allowed
No changes can be made within 2 hours of your departure.

Booking Protection.
Booking Protection is an optional add-on at checkout. It gives you two things.

1. Cancel for any reason.

Reschedule or cancel for any reason up to 24 hours before your scheduled flight with a full refund.

2. Weather becomes refund-eligible.

If MyFlight has to cancel your flight due to unsafe weather, Booking Protection gives you the option of a full refund instead of a reschedule or flight credit.
Use it for peace of mind when you're booking far in advance, traveling to a MyFlight location, or buying tickets for a group where not everyone's schedule is locked.

What happens if weather cancels your flight.

If MyFlight cancels your flight due to unsafe flying conditions, you have two options.

Reschedule to next available date

We will rebook you on the next clear day to fly, at no charge.

Receive a Flight Credit

Flight credits work like gift cards. Use them to book online anytime, at any location. They never expire.
With Booking Protection

A full refund to your original payment.

If you purchased Booking Protection, you have a third option: a full refund to your original payment method. It converts a MyFlight-initiated cancellation into a refund when you would rather have cash back than a reschedule or credit. Useful if you are traveling or from out of town and will not be local to fly again.
Weather cancellations initiated by MyFlight are never charged to the customer.

If you booked a custom event.

Custom events include Proposals, Gender Reveals, Petal Drops, Photoshoots, Flight Packs, and private events at our Detroit facility. These bookings have their own terms.
  • 20% deposit at booking. Held through Tripleseat.
  • Full payment due 24 hours before the event. Events with unpaid balances are automatically canceled and deposits are forfeited.
  • Customer cancellations must be at least 7 days before the event. Inside that window, the deposit is forfeited.

How to reach us.

When contacting us, include your name on the booking and your reference number.
