Building the Future of MyFlight: May 2025

Building the Future of MyFlight: May 2025

Welcome to Post Two in our construction series for the MyFlight Tours new facility.

In this post, we will highlight the latest developments and progress we’ve made since our last update.
If you missed the start of the build, you can catch up here: Post One.

This update is all about structural steel, the milestone that turns a construction site into a real building.
This is a critical phase in the construction process, as it lays the foundation for the entire structure’s integrity and design.

Watching the posts and beams go up is the moment the MyFlight Tours new facility starts to feel tangible, with the footprint, height, and layout taking shape right in front of us.

Want to rewind even further? Here is our groundbreaking recap

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to make strides toward completing this exciting project.

MyFlight Tours New Facility Update

This phase focused on the structural steel framework for the MyFlight Tours new facility. Crews installed the vertical columns and main beams that form the building’s core structure and define the major spaces inside.

Even though it looks like “just steel,” this step is the backbone of the entire project. It is what makes everything that comes next possible, from exterior walls and roofing to the interior build out that will create the spaces our guests and team will use every day.

Structural steel goes up with a lot more precision than most people realize. Each column and beam is set by crane, aligned carefully, and secured connection by connection so the structure stays true to the final design. It’s a fast moving phase, but it’s also one of the most exact, because these measurements impact everything that follows, from the roofline to the exterior walls, and eventually the interior build out.

This is also the milestone where you can finally “read” the building. The open framework starts to show where major spaces will live, how the flow will feel, and how the MyFlight Tours new facility will come together from arrival to takeoff. It’s a huge step forward, not just visually, but functionally.

Why Structural Steel Matters

Structural steel is essentially the skeleton of the MyFlight Tours new facility. Once it is up, you can finally understand the scale of what we are building and how the experience will flow from arrival to takeoff.

This phase locks in the building’s footprint and height, sets the framework for the roof and exterior, and establishes the shape of the future spaces inside. It is one of those turning point moments where the project stops feeling like plans and starts feeling like a destination.

Seeing the Future Take Shape

With the steel in place, we can already picture the future guest experience inside the MyFlight Tours new facility. The arrival experience will feel more welcoming, the space will be designed for comfort, and the overall flow will support everything from everyday flights to unforgettable milestone moments.

This building is being created to elevate the MyFlight experience from start to finish. This week was a major step toward making that vision real.

One of the coolest parts of this stage is how quickly perspective changes from day to day. A site that felt wide open suddenly has shape, direction, and scale. You can start to picture how guests will move through the space and how the building will support both everyday tours and milestone moments. This is when the project starts feeling less like construction and more like the future home of MyFlight.

What comes next

Now that the structural steel is up, the pace of visible progress often accelerates. Next phases for the MyFlight Tours new facility may include roof work, exterior framing, and the early infrastructure that starts turning the structure into finished spaces.

We will keep sharing updates as we go, with more photos and behind the scenes moments along the way.

Looking Ahead

Thank you for following along as we build the MyFlight Tours new facility. This project is about creating a destination that elevates the experience for every guest, while also building a space that supports our team and the future of the company.
